I am deeply energized by understanding people and their unique lived experiences.

This inherent curiosity motivated me to become a licensed psychotherapist, with the intention of helping you navigate life’s complexities and understand how they impact your life. My goal is for you to overcome challenges, explore new ways forward, and connect to yourself with authenticity and compassion. I want to help bring more clarity, purpose, and sweetness into your life and the world.

I am an interactive and empathic therapist skilled in conflict resolution. My work is anchored in a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, with you being the expert of your own life and me being your steady guide. Through our therapeutic connection, I gain insight into your intrinsic strengths and qualities, helping you identify more effective strategies for coping with life’s demands and developing a stronger sense of self.

I have a client-centered approach that embraces individuality. I draw on Attachment Theory, Trauma Informed Care, and Interpersonal Neurobiology to strengthen your growth, resilience, confidence, and relationships with others. I believe early life experiences impact how we manage our behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. I find reflecting on this interplay to be valuable when navigating obstacles, exploring underlying causes in challenging areas, and achieving personal and professional goals with enhanced self-awareness and effectiveness.

I am practiced in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy techniques. I believe the connection between one’s biology, psychology, and social environment is a powerful determinant of mental health. Therefore, my treatment approach considers all dimensions of you, tailored to your lived experiences and circumstances while addressing your individual needs. During our time in therapy, we will co-create treatment goals and together determine your healing path.

I specialize in working with perinatal mental health, medical diagnosis support and coping, grief that feels overwhelming, chronic, or overlooked by others, death and non-death related losses, situational and postpartum depression, ongoing and disruptive anxiety, foster care and adoption, challenging family dynamics and changes, adverse early childhood experiences, and relationship difficulties.

I offer in-person or virtual individual psychotherapy for adolescents (15+) and adults, as well as family-relationship psychotherapy (i.e., parent-adolescent sessions, sibling-sibling sessions).

A Little More Background

Chicago is my home—yet I’m proud to be a Midwesterner thriving in the Texas heat. I am an inquisitive soul, an active listener, and a meaning maker. I have a thirst for meeting new people, building relationships, and learning from others through diverse perspectives and experiences. It has always been my goal to pursue a people-focused helping profession, so I am happy to be here.

I graduated from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois and spent six years working in digital marketing where I developed as a professional and leader. I excelled in communication, collaboration, and establishing relationships—skills that are vital and transferable to my psychotherapy practice.

In my twenties, I began volunteering in foster care as a mentor and advocate. This rewarding experience finally pushed me to make the long-anticipated career jump to the mental health world. I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. During my first year of graduate school, I provided individual psychotherapy to students navigating anxiety and depression, academic stressors, challenging relationships, and life transitions at St. Edward’s University.  I spent my final year of graduate school interning at Ascension Seton Hays Hospital in the ICU, NICU, and Mom/Baby units. I was immediately drawn to the interdisciplinary and fast-paced environment that is medical social work. After graduating with my Masters in Social Work and becoming fully licensed, I was hired by Ascension Seton Hays Hospital. At the hospital, I perform comprehensive clinical assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans, and provide brief therapy to patients and families

dealing with medical crises, trauma, and grief. I am exposed to diverse and challenging situations that foster clinical growth and development. I love both my roles in medical social work and psychotherapy, and I believe this pairing offers me a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

When I’m not seeing clients, I’m usually found going for walks during golden hour, exploring Texas with my fiancé, visiting family in Chicago, attending weddings (yes, I'm in that phase!), or relaxing at home watching Gilmore Girls.
